In early February students in the 9-11 year-old cluster built bluebird boxes with pine lumber for the Lucas Learning Farm in Greene County. The students will paint the boxes and help install them at the Farm later this month. Learners have enjoyed identifying the many common birds from this area that visit the feeder daily near the classroom. Making the nest boxes was a perfect next step in growing their appreciation of wild birds.
